Omantel announces first Mini Cooper car winner

MUSCAT: Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel), the first provider of integrated telecommunications services in the Sultanate, announced the first car winner of its ‘Scratch & Win’ promotion at the event held in Muscat Grand Mall on May 4.

Rashid Qasim Al Badwawi from Al Batinah Region won a Mini Cooper car as part of the promotion.Customers still have the opportunity to win three additional cars that are still up for grabs, as well as numerous other prizes including shell fuel vouchers and numerous free services from Omantel.

Omantel hosted the event in Muscat Grand Mall, where the first lucky car winner was announced and provided with the key to his brand new car.

“When I first received a call from Omantel saying I had won, I could not believe it then I told my family and we were very excited. I’m so grateful to Omantel’s ‘Scratch & Win’ offer for such a generous gift” said Rashid Qasim Al Badwawi.

Al Badwawi added that he only recharged using a one rial Hayyak voucher, dialed *456*recharged card number # and got to be the lucky winner of the first Mini Cooper.

The ‘Scratch and Win’ offer allowed prepaid ‘Hayyak’ customers the opportunity to win big prizes with Omantel by simply recharging their phone balance. The promotion will giveaway more than one million prizes upon completion to all customers topping up their phone balance. Prizes include cars, vouchers, and several Omantel services.
