Dhofar Auto holds special screening of ‘The Fate of the Furious’ at Vox Cinemas
MUSCAT: Hot on the heels of 2015’s one of the fastest movies to reach $1 billion worldwide in box-office history and the sixth-biggest global title of all time, comes the newest chapter in one of the most popular and enduring motion-picture serials of all time: The Fate of the Furious.
Dodge and SRT Chargers and Challengers - the world’s fastest and most powerful muscle cars - are once again prominently featured in the upcoming movie.
To celebrate the launch of the sequel, Dhofar Automotive the exclusive distributors of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in Oman, held a special screening at Vox Cinemas in Muscat. Owners of Dodge in Oman were offered tickets to the special screening and invited to Dhofar Automotive’s Wattayah showroom. The customers then proceeded in a convoy amidst much fanfare to Vox Cinemas.
The convoy was led by 1970 Dodge Charger R/T owns by Nadeem Al Balushi. This classic model was the exact same model driven by Vin Diesel in Fast Five, the fifth movie of the Fast and Fu-
series. What makes this car truly special is that there are only three such models in the entire middle-east region. The special screening was attended by customers, key media partners and business partners.
Speaking about the exclusive premiere, Rhett Maxwell, the general manager of Dhofar Automotives said, “Fantastic action sequences and fast Dodge cars have always been an integral part of the
movie franchise and we take great pride to be associated with it. The latest of the series continues this tradition and is sure to win the hearts of car enthusiasts specially Dodge aficionados.”
One of the stars of the film, the Dodge Charger 2017 is also on display at the venue and scores of visitors can be seen snapping selfies next to it. Movie goers at Vox Cinemas who have purchased two tickets are eligible to take part in a lucky draw and win the Dodge Charger 2017. Furthermore, Dhofar Automotive is holding special promotions on social media channels and giving away movie tickets to winners of their online contests.
