Bridgestone Truck Tyre Centre Ghala completes 15 successful years of service

MUSCAT: Bridgestone Truck Tyre Centre, Ghala is celebrating 15 years of operation, expansion, and success. It was first opened with limited facilities and space in 2003. However, the excellent service from Towell Auto Centre (TAC) teamed with Bridgestone’s quality products has received overwhelming response from customers over the years.

In 2007, the facility was revamped to what it is today and has all the services and facilities that are available in any Bridgestone Truck Tyre Centre worldwide.

“The facility in Ghala started with a single shed and a portacabin. Today it is equipped with all the best facilities that are required. TAC, the sole distributors of Bridgestone, is proud of the fact that Bridgestone Truck Tyre Centre, Ghala is the first Truck Tyre Centre of Bridgestone in the GCC,” said Jaishankar, general manager - Bridgestone Tyre Division.

“Started in 2003 with a TBR work shop which could accommodate fitments of truck and bus tyres and off the roads tyres, today, the Bridgestone Truck Tyre Centre, Ghala can service 3 trucks and 3 cars simultaneously and also look into the servicing of all types of passenger and commercial tyres.”

Being a pioneer of change and by setting new industry benchmarks, the Bridgestone Truck Tyre Cen- tre, Ghala is a state-of-art facility providing mechanised tyre fitting, tyre rotation, computerised wheel alignment, wheel balancing for truck and bus tyres. It is the very first mechanised tubeless truck tyre fitment centre in Oman, which facilitates OTR tyre fitment up to 63” rim size.

The facility is manned by the most professional and highly qualified engineers & technicians, trained by Bridgestone to meet industry standards. It has a fully equipped training room at the facility for regular product training programs for customers such as large fleet operators & staff thereby ensuring expert dynamic team skilled to use the latest technology truck tyre service equipment. Technicians here also hold valid HSE passports, which authorizes them to work in PDO areas. With a ‘closer to customer’ approach, TTC moved its main facility to Ghala 15 years back and has extended services through Fleet points at distant locations like Fahud, Nimr & Duqm.

Since its establishment, Bridgestone Truck Tyre Centre, Ghala has service tie ups and contracts with major fleets which they have retained successfully through the years. It ensures quality work that is completed in a pre-defined time frame and has thus maintained flawless track record overtime.
