RESIDENTS PRAISE HIS MAJESTY’S VISION

Residents in the Sultanate have praised His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said’s leadership and vision for turning Oman into the progressive oasis of peace and tolerance that it is today.
Times of Oman had reached out to those living in the nation, and they did not hold back from their adulation for the country’s leader.
“His Majesty has made a nation of glorious people,” said Farman Ullah Khan. “Oman is a nation of humanity, peace and respect, and I had once read in my native Pakistan, about Oman being the only country that has no one involved in terrorism. Who would not love to live in a place like this?”
“I have stayed in Oman for the past 43 years and have watched the transition of Oman from a traditional society to a modem nation,” recalled Shahul Hameed Ambalath. “His Majesty has de- stay with friends every weekend, with no worries about what will happen when I am out because Oman is not a very strict place and everyone is friendly. As a Filipino, I hang out with many of my colleagues after work and I want to thank His Majesty Sultan Qaboos for his efforts.”
“His Majesty Sultan Qaboos has to be one of the greatest people to grace our lives,” added Moughal, who hails from Bangladesh. “To be the ruler of such nice people, and to have made Oman one of the best places to live a peaceful life just shows what he has done. Hats off to Oman’s spirituality and beauty.”
Others were also quick to praise the leadership of the Sultan.
“Yes, Oman is a peaceful nation because of the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos,” exclaimed Syed Hasan Zaheer Kazmi. “May God give him excellent health with long life.”
Madhavan Vaniyan said, “This is a land of peace and prosperity, which even the expatriates consider to be just like their homeland. I salute His Majesty Sultan Qaboos of this country for making Oman such a beautiful place.”
Sofiya Zaffar too had much to say about His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. “I have been living and working in Oman for the past 27 years,” she said. “Other than the peace and stability afforded to everybody in Oman, the people here are most famed for their hospitality, which is offered to everyone in whichever corner of Oman you may visit. I am truly thankful to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said for making Oman a better place to live in for all nationals and non-nationals. May God bless His Majesty with great health and long life, and it would be truly great if I could get to meet him, just once.”
