Krickets Spero Dubai to tour Oman today
MUSCAT: Krickets Spero Academy, Dubai will travel to Oman today with 2 teams of Under 16 and Under 10 age categories to play matches in Oman against UTSC cricket and Muscat cricket academy at Oman Cricket Association ground.
The matches are organised and hosted by leading club UTSC, the current Champions of Oman B Division cricket league. Krickets Spero, an initiative by former first class cricketers, is a professional cricket training academy and a centre for excellence. The academy follows NCA syllabus and operates under the guidance of Kerala Cricket Association. The academy is located at Al Nasr club, Oudh Metha.
The head coach of the academy is former Kerala Ranji Trophy captain Sony Cheruvathur. He is supported by Pious K Joseph (another state cricketer and former head coach of Kerala U 16 state team), Prashanth Braggs (former UAE player and ICC level 2 coach), Former India A player and Karnataka Ranji trophy player A Vijay and Sharan Pinto another state cricketer from Karnataka.
Oman tour is part of Krickets Spero’s efforts to nurture and prepare the trainees for the future challenges, enhance their skills and to give them an international exposure.
