Pallavi Singh crowned ISC Goan Wing May Queen 2017

MUSCAT: ISC-Goan Wing recently organised the 6th edition of May Queen Ball 2017. This year the annual mega event was at Hotel Sheraton, Muscat.

There were in total 14 stunning young contestants who contended for the crown. This event, being open to all communities in the Sultanate, had contestants from various communities participating and they all looked very striking and dazzling in their best evening gowns as they walked on the fine-looking ramp in turns. The judges had a tough time in deciding the winners. In the end, it was an exceptionally competitive & exciting contest.

Pallavi Singh was crowned May Queen 2017, Betsy Watson was adjudged the first runner-up and Scully Dsouza the second runnerup. Amrita Jijesh won Miss Best Smile, Vrinali Nazareth won Miss Photogenic, Scully Dsouza bagged Miss Best Dressed and Pallavi Singh bagged Miss Best Hair.

The jury panel consisted of Alpana Roy, executive vice president for United Media Services Group, Kavita Wilson, Reigning Mrs Goodwill Ambassador - Mrs India Queen of Substance 2017, Bijay Gupta, ace fashion designer, an artist, based in Muscat & Sabrina Santiago Al Noumani, designer and founder of SANTI Design House.

Ameena Yathrib Al Riyami, (Daughter of Dr Zahra Abdullah Al-Harmali, CEO of Shuroq Al Amal Al Alamia) along with her esteemed team, was also a part of the event. A part of the proceeds from the event was presented in the form of a cheque to Shuroq Al Amal Al Alamia (International Rise of Hope).
