JAC Motors to launch new brand upgrade strategy

MUSCAT: JAC Motors, the number one commercial vehicle brand in China, has reaffirmed its plan to build a strong global brand by launching and implementi­ng a new brand upgrade strategy, which will be focus on three key areas.

The three key areas will include technologi­cal innovation on products upgrade, exports and enhanced collaborat­ion within the auto industry. In Oman, the JAC 3 and four tonne light-duty trucks are available exclusivel­y at Towell Auto Centre (TAC).

A senior spokespers­on of TAC commented: “JAC’s brand upgrade strategy is very smart, innovative and comprehens­ive. It focuses on customer needs, product developmen­t, enhanced exports to strategic markets and key demographi­cs. Its global business model was very effective last year and with this new strategy, the growth is surely to increase over the coming years. The company has been performing excellentl­y both within China and outside. JAC Motors has held the best China light-duty trucks exporting position for 14 consecutiv­e years; it has gained foothold in the South American market and is set to enter new markets such as Australia and New Zealand. JAC assembly lines and factories are under constructi­on in different parts of the globe such as Kazakhstan, Algeria, Iran, Vietnam and Paraguay.”
