Sultan Center provides field experience to SQU students
MUSCAT: Reinforcing its commitment to supporting the education of Oman’s youth, The Sultan Center (TSC) assisted students from the Marketing Department at Sultan Qaboos University in a campus assignment on merchandise planning.
The project formed part of the practical experience component for SQU’s Retail Management Course at the College of Economics and Political Science. TSC assumed the responsibility of inducting the assigned students into the area of merchandise planning by allowing them to be part of its retail process.
Mahmoud Al Sheikh, Marketing manager, TSC said, “At TSC we have always been very supportive of higher education as we believe it holds the key to a successful future wherein the Sultanate’s talented youth can contribute significant gains to its economy and growth. We feel honoured that Sultan Qaboos University has chosen TSC to play a role in the education of its students. Providing invaluable field experience to Omani youth interested in pursuing a career in retail and assisting in the development of students talents and aspirations.”
