Grand Hyatt hosts Iftar for ambassador­s

MUSCAT: Grand Hyatt Muscat recently welcomed ambassador­s from different parts of the world who are posted in Muscat to experience Ramadan nights at the allnew Al Majlis Tent.

An evening of delicious food, traditiona­l music, and conversati­on, with a sparkling array of Ramadan offerings was set up for the grand experience. The evening presented an opportunit­y to bring together a group of key figures from across Oman to communally enjoying the breaking of fast and to experience a sumptuous Iftar within a rich Arabian setting.

“Breaking fast with others is such a special moment. Coming together, enjoying delicious foods, and being thankful. It’s a very beautiful thing,” said Paul Murphy, general manager, Grand Hyatt Muscat.

The guests in attendance signified a multitude of countries and cultures with ambassador­s representi­ng South Africa, Italy, Germany, Brunei, Indonesia, Tanzania, Egypt, Malaysia, Thailand, Cyprus, Russia, France, Sri Lanka, Morocco and Kuwait.

“It was certainly a memorable evening, and a great honour to have cooked for such a range of guests and palettes,” Adam Szczechure, executive chef, Grand Hyatt Muscat.

The impressive settings of the Al Majlis Tent, offer the perfect location for incredible food, drink and live entertainm­ent, with Hyatt living up to its brand promise of ‘moments of more’. Each night an Oud player performs traditiona­l Arabic music to offer the perfect backdrop for Iftar and Suhoor.

In the spirit of giving this Ramadan, Grand Hyatt Muscat has a whole host of offers and promotions to experience, so guests can come together, feast and celebrate with loved ones this blessed season.
