MUSCAT: Tenders worth more than 66 million for diverse projects have been awarded by the Tender Board.

The Tender Board held its sixth meeting of the year under the chair of Dr. Rasheed bin Al Safi Al Huraibi, Chairman of the Tender Board and awarded OMR66,225,332 worth tenders for the following projects:

Supply of medicines for the different health institutions of the Ministry of Health (OMR19,578,147).

Supply of technicians for the operation and maintenance of equipment at Khoulah Hospital in the Governorate of Muscat for the Ministry of Health (OMR546,473).

Enter into agreement for the production of a TV competition program for the Public Authority for Radio and TV (OMR150,000).

Extending the employment contracts for the teaching staff at the different colleges of technologies under the Ministry of Manpower (OMR35,990,760).

Additional work for the supply of lab and blood transfusion stuffs for the Ministry of Health for 2016 (OMR5,087,683).

Additional works for the maintenance and repair of the floating dock at the Wilayat of Muttrah in the Governorate of Muscat, the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (OMR832,720).

Additional works for the transport of 1000 cubic meter -2500 cubic meters of potable water from Izz water tanker filling stations in the Wilayat of Manah to Al Masifa, Al Yemen, Al Alam and Maghyouth villages at the Wilayat of Izki- the Public Authority for Electricity and Water (OMR807,840).

Additional works for the construction of a center for blood diseases and marrow transplantation at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital (OMR796,154).

Additional works for the supply of surgical materials for the Ministry of Health (OMR636,547).

Renewal of the contract for the medicines interactions program at the health institutions of the Ministry of Health (OMR423,974).

Additional works for the logistic, supply, catering, cleanliness, washing and pest control for the hospitals and health complexes of the Ministry of Health at the different governorates of the Sultanate (OMR299,316).

Extending the water purchase contract from the water desalination plant in the Wilayat of Quriyat for 12 months, the Public Authority for Electricity and Water (OMR271,013).

Additional works for the consultancy services for the supervision for the construction of 400 housing units with internal roads and lighting at the Wilayat of Saham in the Governorate of North Al Batinah, the Ministry of Housing (OMR174,950).
