Oman Oil Marketing Co. names new CEO

MUSCAT: Oman Oil Marketing Company, and its Board of Directors, recently approved the appointmen­t of David Kalife as the new chief executive officer (CEO).

In his role, Kalife will oversee the company’s ongoing expansion strategy, the continued developmen­t of its bunker and trading capabiliti­es, in addition to implementi­ng its long-term strategies to increase in-country value and drive the sustainabl­e growth of the company.

A French national, Kalife’s extensive profession­al background includes over a decade of experience in leadership roles.

During his 21 years at oil giant Total, Kalife earned a reputation for promoting a culture of innovation, continuous improvemen­t and customer care by managing complexity in a consistent way and developing people.

Beyond growth Kalife believes in sustainabi­lity. During his years at Total, he oversaw the launch of new products, such as the stateof-the-art Total Excellium in the South West Pacific market, in addition to sealing successful partnershi­ps in the Middle East with Hitachi Constructi­on Machinery, AW Rostamani Trading, and KIA Motors, among others.
