Maisarah provides top customer experience

Around 20 employees were trained on the topic of ‘Liability Products and Sharia Issues’ by the Sharia department of Maisarah Islamic Banking Services at its Al Hail branch

MUSCAT: With an objective to enhance customer experience, Maisarah Islamic Banking Services recently conducted a training course for its employees on liability products. The training programme covered a gamut of topics to help employees become more efficient and better equipped to deal effectivel­y with customers’ needs.

Around 20 employees were trained on the topic of ‘Liability Products and Sharia Issues’ by the Sharia department of Maisarah Islamic Banking Services at its Al Hail branch. The training workshop held in both Arabic and English languages covered real life examples and involved many exercises.

Speaking of the training Abdul Hakim Osman, Internal Sharia Reviewer, said, “Maisarah Islamic Banking Services is keen on of- fering an outstandin­g customer experience. Through our training programme, we aimed to help our employees gain a greater insight into the products offered by us. We also wanted them to take control of creating a great customer experience.”

He added, “Sharia Compliance is the hallmark of Islamic Banking. We at Maisarah Islamic Banking ensure that proper training is given to our staff to increase their understand­ing of the Sharia related issues of the products offered by Maisarah. This will help us ensure highest standard of Sharia Compliance.”

Maisarah Islamic Banking Services believes in giving its employees the training and understand­s that providing in depth product training into key banking products can help its staff learn more about the products and gain confidence. The bank believes that to enhance customer satisfacti­on, organisati­ons need to devise effective training programmes for its employees.
