-

MUSCAT: As part of its constant efforts for development and modernisation, the Public Authority for Electricity and Water launched its new identity ‘Deem’.

PAEW’s new institutional identity is the result of a number of factors that lead finally to creating a general perception among its customers, staff and society in general about the nature of work carried out by the Authority in the Sultanate.

The new identity comes in a bid by PAEW to embody the role it plays in supplying all citizens and residents in the Sultanate with high quality and uninterrupted potable water supply service

Role

The new identity comes in a bid by PAEW to embody the role it plays in supplying all citizens and residents in the Sultanate with high quality and uninterrupted potable water supply service.

The identity also reflects the development stages of the Authority since its establishment in 2007 and its vision which aims at supplying all residents in the Sultanate with high quality potable water.

To achieve its vision, PAEW has developed an ambitious strategy that covers up to 2040. The strategy targets covering 98 per cent of the population in the Sultanate with potable water.

Focus

The Authority seeks to focus on customers, operate efficiently and develop its human resources to stand at equal par with similar international organisations.

The blue colour symbolises the potable water supplied by the Authority and the green colour symbolises purity and health, which are realised after having high quality potable water.

High quality

The new identity also has many reflections, such as being open to development, professionalism, transparency, freshness, charming nature, prosperity and happiness; which are all realised after having high quality water.
