Omantel announces Wednesday movie offer for Makasib members

MUSCAT: Omantel, the first telecom provider in Oman, has announced an attractive ‘Buy a movie ticket and get one free’ offer for the members of its popular loyalty programme, on every Wednesday, Makasib members can get one cinema ticket free when they purchase a ticket at Vox cinemas.

The ‘Buy one ticket. The other one’s on us’ offer is valid at all Vox Cinemas and City Cinema theatres in Oman.

“The one-for-one movie offer is fun and useful at discounted rates. Our latest initiative is testament to our commitment to our customers and we will keep innovating to reward them for their long-standing association with us.”

“To get the offer on the phone, the registered Makasib member has to dial *224*33# and select Makasib Wednesday. The customer then has to select Vox & City Cinema tickets. Once the options are selected, the customer will receive an SMS which contains the coupon code of the offer,” he added.

Al Rawas stated that the customer can choose one of the two options to get the movie tickets – online or physical pick-up. In the first option, the customer has to visit the VOX and City Cinema website to book the ticket. In the second option, the customer has to show the SMS containing the coupon code at the cinema ticket office on the day of the show.

Omantel costumers are invited to join Makasib by dialing the short code *224# and following the instructions. Customers can also register for the programme via the Omantel App available for both Android and Apple devices.
