‘MGM Wish Box’ concludes successfully

-

MUSCAT: For the duration of the Eid holidays, starting from the first day to Eid and ending on July 1, Muscat Grand Mall (MGM) hosted a new and innovative form of live kids’ entertainment calling it the ‘MGM Wish Box’.

The event saw the children interacting with MGM’s Eid Mascot – ‘Uncle Salim’ and his two ‘sons’, and participating in a small challenge; following which they were presented with gifts. In total, 2,422 gifts were distributed to the children over the course of the event.

Always keen to interact with its customers, MGM set up a 5mx5m giant gift box in the centre of the mall’s atrium under the name ‘MGM Wish Box’.

Children visiting the mall anytime from June 25 to July 1 could interact with ‘Uncle Salim’ and his two ‘sons’, who then gave the children a simple challenge to complete; which involved either singing, counting, or dancing.

After completing their challenge, each child was granted a ‘wish’ in the form of gifts of their choosing. These included a wide selection of items including the likes of doll sets, high speed train sets, remote control cars, emoticon pillows, talking Tom and talking Angela toys, hair accessories, girls’ bag, chocolates, free movie ticket, alphabet sets, hot wheels, McDonald’s toys, fidget spinners, and more.

Success of the event underlines MGM’s commitment towards mall visitors and its ongoing efforts towards making every visit to the mall eventful and exciting.

The six-day event received a great response with parents commending the mall for organising such a fun and interactive chil- dren’s event. They also appreciated the fact that every single child left with a smile on their faces, making their trip to the mall all the more special. Following the success of the event, MGM will continue to host many other similar events going forward.
