New partnership between Oman Oil and Oman Air to enhance joint cooperation

MUSCAT: Oman Oil Company (OOC), the government’s investment arm in the energy related sectors, and Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate, signed at OOC’s headquarters a collaboration agreement under which Oman Air will provide services and offerings tailored to meet the business requirements of OOC Group of companies.

This agreement will offer a number of promotional services and products specially designed to meet the business requirements for OOC.

The agreement was signed by Al Mutasim bin Said Al Sariri, director of Corporate Affairs of OOC, on behalf of Oman Oil Company and Jamal Al Azki, country manager of Oman Air, with the presence of officials from both sides.

Commenting on this remarkable participation, Al Sariri said, “This partnership reflects our commitment to supporting the economic development, and supporting in country value through continued cooperation with local business. OOC is working closely with its strategic partners to enhance the service quality to meet the business requirements of OOC Group of companies.

“We strongly believe that this agreement will boost the existing collaboration between OOC and Oman Air and create more business opportunities.”

Al Azki commented on this occasion, “Oman Air is delighted to have signed this important agreement with Oman Oil Company (OOC). As per the new agreement, Oman Air is now Oman Oil’s first choice carrier and we are confident that it will both strengthen the relationship between our two companies and benefit Oman.

Oman Oil Company manages more than 50 investments that cover many energy related sectors in the local and international levels; 64% of the total investments are in the Sultanate. Its strategy focuses on ICV through prospering Omani products and services.
