‘Your Decision, Your Future’ helps Omani school students

MUSCAT: Under the auspices of the Directorate-General of Scholarships and Higher Education Admissions Centre, Ministry of Higher Education, and the National Career Guidance Centre, Ministry of Education, United Media Services (UMS) has published the third edition of Decision, Your Future.

Your Decision, Your Future is a bilingual AIWA publication that has been created to help Omani school students make well-informed choices for their future higher education.

In this magazine, Omani students will find quick answers to frequently asked questions about scholarship application procedures, internal and external scholarships and advice on how to select a suitable undergraduate degree programme. The staff of Ministry of Education and Ministry of Higher Education have also contributed and shared their knowledge to the magazine.

The Directorate-General of Scholarships, has also included a word of advice and the list of recommended higher education institutions for students who want to study abroad categorised by the types of scholarships.

Students will also find more information about admissions and English language tests – including the IELTS for UKVI purposes.

UMS has uploaded the online version of Your Decision, Your Fu

(Third Edition) - an informative magazine for Omani school students, undergraduate scholarship applicants and their advisers - to the website of the higher education admissions centre.

A copy of the publication will be available at the customer service department in the week of July 30 at the Ministry of Higher Education. Digital copy of the same is also available.
