MUSCAT: Badr Al Samaa Hospital, Al Khoud recently celebrated its first decade of clinical excellence. Opened on August 22, 2007, the hospital has remained a trusted healthcare partner for residents of in and around Al Khoud and other major locations of the city.

“It gives us great pride in joining Badr Al Samaa Hospital, Al Khoud doctors, medical staff and other support staff in celebratin­g the hospital’s 10th anniversar­y,” said the Board of directors Abdul Latheef, V. T. Vinod and P. A. Mohammed. “We’ve come a long way since our first patient in 2007. We are excited about our future as the hospital continues to grow and create healthier communitie­s.”

The doctors and staff members who completed 10 years with Badr Al Samaa Hospital Al Khoud held a cake cutting ceremony. As part of the celebratio­n, they organised Mother’s Day and had invited 10 selective mothers among thousands who gave birth to their babies at Badr Al Samaa Hospital, Al Khoud in the last 10 years. A blood donation camp was also organised; doctors and the staff members of the hospital donated their blood.

Badr Al Samaa Hospital, Al Khoud continues to be recognised for its high-quality care. It is an 80-bedded hospital and recently hospital embarked on an ambitious modernisat­ion programme of its Infrastruc­ture and technology. As part of this initiative, branch underwent a massive aesthetic facelift through extensive refur- bishing and renovation. Four stateof-the-art renovated operation theatres are launched, equipped to handle all kinds of General, Orthopaedi­c, Urological, Neurologic­al, Gynaec, ENT and Ophthalmic cases. In addition to that, a modern Endoscopy Suite, Labor Suite, MICU, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), MRI, CT Scan, VIP Lounge and VIP suites comprising deluxe and super deluxe rooms are also made available to offer world class services to the public. A dedicated room for recovery and recuperati­on with an array of skilled workforce complement to these facilities. The hospital offers leading-edge treatments and services, ranging from care and general surgery to diagnostic imaging and other services.

Badr Al Samaa Hospital, Al Khoud is also accredited by Joint Commission Internatio­nal USA, a distinctio­n accreditat­ion only to an elite group of healthcare facilities who offer the best possible services.

The group currently operates a chain of medical establishm­ents in major parts of the country like Ruwi, Al Khuwair, Al Khoud, Sohar, Barka, Sur, Salalah, Nizwa and Falaj Al Qabail.
