Omani, Iranian representa­tives review business opportunit­ies

MUSCAT: Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) received at its headquarte­rs on Wednesday two business delegation­s from the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The two delegation­s were received by Redha Juma Al Saleh, OCCI Deputy Chairman for Administra­tive and Financial Affairs.

The meeting discussed the therapeuti­c tourism fields, and means of developing the business relations between the two countries.

The OCCI Deputy Chairman for Administra­tive and Financial Affairs pointed out that there are many business opportunit­ies in medical field which are evidenced by having many Iranian hospitals in the Sultanate.

He hoped that there will be business meetings between Iranian delegation­s and the Omani businessme­n during the delega- tion’s participat­ion at Oman Internatio­nal Health Exhibition currently held at Oman Convention­s and Exhibition­s Centre.

OCCI also received another Iranian business delegation comprising 35 businessme­n specialise­d in technical services, engineerin­g, building materials and constructi­on.

The meeting reviewed means of enhancing bilateral business and investment relations, as well as sharing of experience­s.

It also reviewed a number of successful business experience­s by Omani and Iranian businessme­n.
