Caledonian College of Engineering joins hands with Al Rahma
MUSCAT: Caledonian College of Engineering signed a contract with Al Rahma Association recently for collection and recycling of waste paper.
The contract stipulates that the proceeds generated from the recycling of waste paper will directly go to underprivileged students to help them continue their education.

Caledonian College is committed to environmental protection and has actively engaged in environment protection campaign, energy efficient Green Initiatives, awareness campaigns, which has been recognised both nationally and internationally, thus winning Green Awards for the three consecutive years.
Awareness
CCE was conferred with the Environmental Champion Award in the Recycle Mania Tournament held in 2016.
CCE is committed to Reduce, Recycle and Reuse and has initiated weekly wastepaper recycling campaign has created awareness among the students and staff to reduce waste and re- cycling to reduce the carbon footprint on its campus.
The joint association with CCE and Al Rahma will be a productive venture to create awareness amongst local community on waste management, help the indigent students, and serve the community at large.
Al Rahma Association for Motherhood and Childhood was established in 2005 and is supported by the social development committee in Wilayat Al Seeb. It strives to help less fortunate families in the Omani society across all governorates of the Sultanate by providing them with the necessary financial and non –financial support. We are very proud of our association with Al Rahma Association and being part of their noble cause.
