Home, building show to start on October 23
MUSCAT: Oman’s popular annual trade fair showcasing the ideal home environment opens at the splendid Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre in Madinat Al Irfan on October 23 2017, this time around with an added focus on building construction and property development.
The three-day event, suitably rebranded as the Home & Building Show 2017, will be inaugurated by Dr. Rasheed bin Al Safi Al Huraibi, chairman of the Tender Board. Also in attendance will be dignitaries from the Ministry of Housing, the official patron of the event, as well as officials and executives representing a number of public, corporate and private sector organisations that have a stake in the growth and success of a vibrant economic sector focussed on the home and building industry in Oman.
Organised by Omani event management firm Global Exhibitions and Conferences (GEC), the Home & Building Show 2017 will run from October 23 to 25 in Hall No. 5 of the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre—Muscat’s signature showcase for trade shows and exhibitions.
Building on the success of previous editions of this keenly anticipated annual fair, this year’s instalment includes a Building Construction component as well—a move that promises to enhance the overall appeal of the event—for exhibitors and visitors alike. As a result, new product and service categories will be on offer at this year’s event, making for a trade expo that promises to be comprehensive, diverse and exciting. Product categories set to be showcased at the Home & Building Show 2017 include bedroom sets, carpet and rugs, ceramics and stones, steel products, facilities management, heating, ventilation and air conditioning and home appliances.
For the first time in the trade show’s seven-year history, a Kitchen & Bath Expo (KBEX) will be colocated with the Home andBuilding Show.
This maiden expo will shed light on cutting edge developments in bath design, trends, innovations and solutions.
