United Media Services appoints new CEO
MUSCAT: Muscat Overseas Group, the parent company of United Media Services (UMS) has announced the appointment of Atulya Sharma as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to further UMS’ journey as a growth-oriented and client-centric advertising, digital, social media, public relations, publishing, distribution and events company in Oman and beyond.
In his capacity as the new CEO, Atulya Sharma will spearhead UMS’ operations and lead all the company’s critical business areas including strategic business planning and development, stakeholder management and client engagement. His primary focus will be towards driving engagement across the gamut of services provided by UMS and creating transformational client experiences.
Prior to being appointed as the CEO, Atulya Sharma was UMS’ Chief Strategy Officer and Head of the Advertising and Communication division. He has been responsible for driving several outstanding advertising and marketing campaigns, as well as strategic partnerships impacting critical business growth for the company.
Commenting on his new role as CEO, Sharma said: “At a time when the communication industry is at a critical juncture - with digitisation playing a vital role in influencing business dynam- ics and consumer engagement, it gives me immense pride in taking up this new responsibility.
