Goods fi­nance made easy by Mais­arah and Emax

As per the agree­ment, Mais­arah will ex­tend its sup­port to Emax cus­tomers by fi­nanc­ing goods se­lected by shop­pers un­der the el­i­gi­bil­ity terms and con­di­tions stip­u­lated by the Islamic win­dow

MUSCAT: To fur­ther en­rich its cus­tomer ex­pe­ri­ence, Mais­arah Islamic Bank­ing Ser­vices – BankDho­far’s Islamic win­dow - has signed a Mem­o­ran­dum of Un­der­stand­ing (MoU) with Emax to fa­cil­i­tate goods fi­nanc­ing op­tion for cus­tomers.

The MoU was signed bi­lat­er­ally by Jamsheed Hamza, Maisa- rah’s head of Re­tail Bank­ing, and Mo­ham­mad Imbe­sat Afroz, Op­er­a­tion man­ager of Emax dur­ing a sign­ing cer­e­mony that took place re­cently at Muscat City Cen­tre in Mawaleh.

As per the agree­ment, Mais­arah will ex­tend its sup­port to Emax cus­tomers by fi­nanc­ing goods se­lected by shop­pers un­der the el­i­gi­bil­ity terms and con­di­tions stip­u­lated by the Islamic win­dow.

Hamza said: “The agree­ment with Emax comes as part of our con­cen­trated ef­forts to of­fer easy fi­nanc­ing op­tions for our cus­tomers across the Sul­tanate. Mais­arah will con­tinue to part­ner with re­puted re­tail­ers in Oman to en­able cus­tomers to own the goods they wish to have through Sharia-com­pli­ant fi­nan­cial so­lu­tions, prod­ucts and ser­vices.”

The of­fer adds to the wide range of Islamic fi­nan­cial so­lu­tions, in­no­va­tive prod­ucts and bestin-class ser­vices that Mais­arah of­fers to cater to the needs of its re­tail and cor­po­rate cus­tomers. These so­lu­tions in­clude: travel fi­nance, credit card, home fi­nance, auto fi­nance, ed­u­ca­tion fi­nance, prize ac­count, sav­ings ac­count, cur­rent ac­count, fixed de­posit, Ameen term de­posit, work­ing cap­i­tal fi­nance, goods fi­nance, prop­erty fi­nance, equip­ment and project fi­nance, Wa’ad prod­uct (al­ter­nate to for­ward cover), as well as trade fi­nanc­ing so­lu­tions such as let­ter of credit and let­ter of guar­an­tee ser­vices.

“At Emax, it is our en­deav­our to pro­vide our cus­tomers with ex­cep­tional value. The tie-up with Bank Mais­arah gives our cus­tomers the con­ve­nience to se­lect from our ex­ten­sive so­lu­tions through af­ford­able fi­nanc­ing op­tions,” Afroz added.
