‘Oman, My Heart’ invites kids to play, learn, celebrate at Oman Avenues Mall

-

MUSCAT: In celebration of the Sultanate of Oman’s 47th National Day on November 18 and in recognition of Oman’s spectacular natural and cultural treasures, Oman Avenues Mall is currently going ahead with 45 days of colour, creativity, and action with its ‘Oman, My Heart’ campaign for local and expat families and their kids.

Continuing through from October 12 until November 30, the campaign invites kids between the ages of 6 and 16 years to come and ‘Play, Learn, and Celebrate’ around a giant tree-shaped play area installation in the mall’s main atrium – where, along with their friends, they can immerse themselves in a world of artwork stations; LEGO brick workshops; Jenga building block stations– and other creative activities. Entry is free, and all kids that participate receive a free LEGO gift.

The giant play area – shaped as a tree – was chosen by Oman Avenues Mall to symbolically represent growth, strength and stability. As such, it is a platform from which the youth of Oman can engage their creativity, and develop and grow into strong, stable individuals, who will contribute positively to the future of Oman’s great cultural and natural wealth.

Then, on the 47th National Day itself on 18 November Oman Avenues Mall will step up the excite- ment with a world record attempt to construct the largest ever 3D Flag built entirely from LEGO bricks. Once the flag is complete, an inauguration ceremony to mark the occasion is scheduled to take place on the same day, and Oman Avenues Mall is inviting the people of Oman to come and celebrate the achievement with them.

‘Oman, My Heart’ daily timings are 5pm – 9.30pm from Sunday to Thursday (excluding Wednesday).
