Alizz Islamic Bank inks MoU with Oman Post

MUSCAT: Reinforcin­g its position as one of Oman’s most dynamic and innovative Islamic banking institutio­ns, Alizz Islamic Bank signed a memorandum of understand­ing (MoU) with Oman Post.

This is part of Alizz Islamic Bank’s efforts to lead the financial sector’s initiative to work closely with Oman Post.

Moosa Al Jadidi, COO of Alizz Islamic Bank signed the MoU on behalf of the bank and Abdulmalik Al Balushi, CEO of Oman Post signed on behalf of Oman Post.

Commenting on the signing of the MoU, Al Jadidi said, “This is a great opportunit­y for Alizz Islamic Bank to expand its reach and services by utilising Oman Post’s wide network of branches. Through this strategic partnershi­p, we can provide services and products to our customers in regions where we do not currently have a branch presence.”

Expressing his delight at signing the MoU, Al Balushi said, “The signing of this MoU with Alizz Islamic Bank will be beneficial to both parties. Oman Post’s objective is to support the national economy through its network of branches and we are proud to partner with Alizz Islamic Bank as they are the only bank that offers 35 Sharia-compliant products that meet the needs of both individual­s and companies.”

Alizz Islamic Bank products are designed to meet the requiremen­ts of the different segments of society and the bank continues to launch innovative solutions that add value to customers and enhances their confidence to move forward.

Alizz Islamic Bank has strengthen­ed its network in the Sultanate and currently has nine branches in Ruwi, Wattayah, Azaiba, Al Khoudh, Sohar, Barka, Salalah, Ibra and Nizwa with a 10th branch set to be launched in the 4th quarter of 2017.
