MUSCAT: A display of grit and determination and an outstanding performance has marked the recent success of Indian School Al Seeb’s (ISAS) students in CBSE Inter School Clusters tournaments and other inter-school competitions in sports and games.

At the Clusters, the school has qualified for nationals in many categories by defeating all other Indian schools in Oman. The handball teams of the school created history by lifting all the three trophies of Under-17, Boys, Under-19 Boys and Under -19 Girls categories. In swimming events, the school clinched 8 Bronze, 4 silver and 2 gold medals with Aditya Bose’s spectacular victories in 200 metres freestyle and 200 metres IM, which helped him in qualifying for the nationals to be held in India.

Somile Rawat, Siddharth Anil Kumar, Nayan Raj and Sinan Sulaiman clinched gold in chess in the Under-17 category and are all set to make their mark in India at the nationals. In athletics, the students continued to enjoy success with 2 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze medals. In the recently held prestigious Ambassador Cup Hockey Tournament the under – 19 Boys brought laurels to the school by winning the tournament. The most colourful feather in the cap of achievements is the selection of Mohd.
