Enhance Eagles beat Strikers for third successive victory
MUSCAT: MDC Enhance Eagles recorded their third consecutive victory in the A Division when they defeated Glory Bower Strikers by five wickets at Ministry of Sports Affairs Ground II in Al Amerat on Saturday.
Strikers won the toss and opted to bat first but failed to put a competitive total on the board, leaving Eagles an easy task of chasing 116 for victory, which it did in the 27th over, losing five wickets in the process.
Pranav Mehta and Parth Trivedi saved Enhance eagles with a 66-run partnership for the third wicket. While Parth left after scoring 46 off 65 balls, Pranav stayed on to score a fighting 54 not out off 71 balls to ensure another win for his side.
Earlier, Enhance bowlers kept a tight control over Strikers’ batting, which folded up for just 115 in 33 overs. Vijayanand Dhayanandan (37) and Nidhin Mohan (23) were the only notable scorers. Mohammed Faisal and Omkar Pramod claimed three wickets each while Ananyo Sen and Pradeep Kumar bagged two wickets each.

A vital unbeaten 43 by Samir More helped Mott MacDonald to a 103run victory against Zubair CT in a D Division clash.
