Sharakah conducts ‘Ruwad Gathering’

MUSCAT: Sharakah held its semi-annual ‘ Ruwad Sharakah Gathering’ recently at the Innovation Factory in Knowledge Oasis Muscat.

The event was held under the patronage of Hani M. Al Zubair, chairman of Fund for Development of Youth Projects (Sharakah).

The event, which was attended by officials from Riyada and Sharakah’s partners, aims to create a platform for SMEs to network and exchange knowledge and experience. Dr Firas Al Musafir along with his fellow partners welcomed Ruwad Sharakah to the Innovation Factory and presented the story of how Innovation Factory was set up. This was followed by a tour of the premises.

In his speech, Dr Firas highlighted the importance of perseverance when running after a particular goal of a business. He shared the struggles they had to overcome to reach this far. He further said, “Every time we faced a challenge, we considered it as an opportunity to find an innovative solution and that is one of the core values of the Innovation Factory.”

Sulaiman Al Mahrizi, deputy general manager for Development in Sharakah commented, “Ruwad Sharakah Event is an opportunity where Sharakah clients would have time to interact with Sharakah board of directors and its staff. As Sharakah’s profile is noticeably diverse, this event allows the Ruwad Sharakah to scout for business opportunities. We hope that this event will continue to be a knowledge-sharing platform.”
