TAC wins Geely’s Best Corporation Award
The 2016 Annual Best Corporation (After-sales Service Management and Spare Parts Operation Management) Award was presented to the TAC officials at a function held recently at the Geely headquarters in China
MUSCAT: Towell Auto Centre (TAC), the sole distributor of Geely in Oman, known for its tried-and-tested cars, prompt service and 98% first pick parts availability, has been selected by Geely International Corporation, as the Top 3 in Spare Parts, globally.
The 2016 Annual Best Corporation (After-sales Service Management and Spare Parts Operation Management) Award was presented to the TAC officials at a well-attended function held re- cently at the Geely headquarters in China.
The award was based on monthly evaluation standards of its Spare Parts Division, which included a range of parameters such as cooperation and support, training sessions of spare parts technology, forecast order, purchase and sales, and spare parts management for customer satisfaction.
Geely International Corporation published month-on-month evaluation results of their distributors worldwide, on their spare parts work platform www. geelyglobal.com. The objective was to enhance the efficiency and improve customer satisfaction for the supply of spare parts of Geely vehicles. TAC was consistent in notching up top scores, month af- ter month, throughout 2016.
As a Top 3 Company, TAC officials shared their spare parts management expertise and experiences with other dealers present from all over the world. All the dealers had the opportunity to visit the state-of-the-art Geely manufacturing plant and newly built state-of-the-art parts warehouse facility in China.
The award function was a part of the Geely Overseas Service Strategy Conference of 2018. The strategy discussed was that “by 2020, the annual sales volume of Geely will reach 2 million units and Geely shall be one of the top 10 global automakers and the most competitive and respected Chinese auto brand”.
The winners of the Geely Main- tenance Technicians and Service Advisors Skill Competition of China were also felicitated on the occasion.
