Renowned literary figure to participate in Tamil talk show
MUSCAT: Prof. Solomon Pappiah, a well-known literary figure in Tamil Nadu will be chairing a Pattimandram (debate) show in Tamil. He will be joined in the show by two more well-known literary figures S. Raja and Bharathy Bhaskar and four other very talented speakers from Tamil Nadu.
This grand event will be staged on Saturday, February 17 at the Grand Hall of Al Falaj Hotel under the production of Bharathi Kalai Mandram and event managed by Majan Events.
Pattimandram is a popular and an entertaining debate show that attracts a huge audience among the Tamil community around the world. No festival in Tamil Nadu is considered complete without a Pattimandram.
Prof Soloman Pappaiah holds an important position in the Tamil Pattimandram arena. For over five decades, this 81-year-old Tamil scholar has entertained the audiences all over the world with his unique style of oratory skills. He is credited with taking social themes to the masses and has so far moderated over 5,000 debates programmes across the globe.
Bharthy Bhaskar possesses an extraordinary oratory skill and her speeches are often inspiring and thought-provoking. She can talk on any subject with aplomb and holds her audiences spellbound with her incredible eloquence on stage.
Raja is a darling of the masses and has a super-star status among Tamilians. His speeches are always replete with humour and wit that provokes roaring laughter and applause from the audience.
This is the first time these three artists are performing on stage together and the Muscat audience is surely in for a great literary treat mentions one of the organisers.
