Oman Cricket honours Level 1 and 2 umpires

MUSCAT: Aiming to enhance their pool of qualified and certified officials, Oman Cricket (OC) awarded International Cricket Council (ICC) certificates to a number of umpires who attended the recent umpiring courses.

During a ceremony organised at Al Falaj Hotel, the OC presented the prestigious Level 2 Umpire certificates to Omani citizen Said Haider, Navneeth Krishnan, A K Mujahid and Sanjeeb Biswas, who successfully completed the course organised in Sri Lanka by ICC Asia.

Oman Cricket also awarded a number of participants who attended Level 1 umpiring course held in Muscat. The course was conducted by ICC Asia-certified Umpire Educator A. R. Srinivasan and he was assisted by senior OC umpire Rahul Asher.
