Chopard to sparkle at Baselworld 2018
MUSCAT: Chopard is all set to unleash some exciting and playful novelties at Baselworld 2018 being held from March 22 – 27 in Basel, Switzerland. The Khimji’s Watches team will be present at the event as the sole representative of Chopard in Oman.
Nailesh Khimji, director – Khimji Ramadas, said, “We are looking forward to being part of the world’s biggest watch and jewellery fair and representing a brand such as Chopard. The Scheufele family and Chopard have been part of this extraordinary event since the old days of ‘Mustermesse Basel’ and have changed the dynamics of the market combing their watchmaking traditions with modern technology to give us some extraordinary novelties year after year. This year will be no different.”
Spurred on by the success of its new design for the L.U.C XP and XPS collections in 2017, Chopard has extended this aesthetic to another of its stellar models in the L.U.C collection, the L.U.C Quattro. At the heart of the watch beats one of the original movements developed and produced by Chopard, the Calibre 98.01-L, distinguished by the patented Quattro technology.
It is a year of celebration at Chopard as it completes 30 years of its partnership with the Italian Mille Miglia race. What better way to pay ode to this collaboration than with five new models that add some panache to the Mille Miglia Collection – all in a slew of bold colours. The Chopard Mille Miglia Racing Colours limited edition watches channel the bright 1930s colours assigned to each of the five national teams this year.
