Mazda Oman wins ‘Middle East and Africa Walk Around’ contest
MUSCAT: Oman’s TAC Mazda, has scooped up the Middle East and Africa Walk Around contest conducted by Mazda in Dubai recently for the fourth time.
Mazda Oman’s Samuel A., sales executive at Towell Auto Centre’s (TAC) Mazda Wattayah branch was the national winner of 2018 and now is crowned the winner of the Mazda Walk Around contest, Middle East & Africa 2018.
The parameters of assessment are based on the communication and presentation skills of the product consultants at Mazda. The Middle East and Africa Walk Around contest is an annual contest for distributors in the region and has been won by Mazda Oman again in 2018 for the fourth time.
Held in Dubai recently, the contest saw nine participants, eight of which were from GCC states namely – Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE and one from the North African country of Tunisia.
The judges for the competition included officials from Mazda Motor Corporation Japan, with the product in focus this year being the CX-5 Luxury Plus. Contestants were judged on the results of a written test as well as a 20-minute product presentation, which not only gauged their communication skills but also their knowledge about Mazda’s values which are embedded in their brand and products.
Mazda Motor Corporation Japan awarded the winner with a trophy and an achievement certificate.
According to Towell Auto Centre (TAC), the sole distributor of Mazda vehicles in the Sultanate of Oman, “This is the fourth time we have won this contest since its inception. Mazda Oman has consistently met the high standards set by Mazda Motor Corporation Japan, and have strived to better our knowledge of the brand and product.
