Komatsu honours Mohammed Saud Bahwan with prestigious awards
Commemorate 40-year association with SBG with outstanding achievement and overall excellence awards
MUSCAT: At an exclusive event held at Muscat, Komatsu Ltd. Japan and Saud Bahwan Group celebrated a historic milestone – 40 years of a strong association in Oman.
Attending the occasion were leading dignitaries from the public and the private sector and a top management team from Komatsu, Japan and Komatsu, Middle East.
On this historic occasion, presenting Mohammed Saud Bahwan, chairman, Saud Bahwan Group with two prestigious excellence awards – ‘Komatsu Award for appreciation for Overall Excellence as well as 40 Years Long-standing Relationship’ and the ‘Komatsu Achievement Award for Outstanding Market Share and for Sustained Contribution to the Community’; Kiyoshi Mizuhara, senior executive officer, president, Construction Equipment Marketing Division, Komatsu, remarked, “I would like to express my sincere and heartfelt congratulations to Mohammed Saud Bahwan, chairman, Saud Bahwan Group and all members of Saud Bahwan Group who have engaged in achieving continuous success for our Komatsu Equipment business since 1978, when this partnership began.”
Sharing his thoughts on Saud Bahwan Group’s commitment to customer satisfaction he said, “Saud Bahwan Group has always been committed to providing highquality product support from the beginning of our partnership. This philosophy perfectly matches with Komatsu’s policy. Saud Bahwan Group’s philosophy of “Customer Centric Approach” and continuous investments in after-sales service, has enabled us to jointly establish a market leadership position in Oman.”
Speaking about what makes this partnership so special, he said, “Saud Bahwan Group can be rated as one among the top distributors in the world and their continuous efforts to align with Komatsu’s ‘Brand Management’ philosophies have earned them a distinguished honour of the only distributor in the Middle East region to be selected for this approach.”
In his opening remarks, Mohammed Saud Bahwan reflected on the long association with Komatsu. He said, “This year marks a milestone for Saud Bahwan Group, as it celebrates forty long years of a successful association with Komatsu Ltd., Japan. SBG has worked handin-hand with Komatsu to cater to the needs of our valued customers with a world-class range of construction & mining equipment.”
Expressing his gratitude, he remarked, “I must express my special appreciation to Komatsu Ltd. and Komatsu Middle East for the excellent guidance and support extended to us at all times.”
“I also take this opportunity to thank our valued customers for their loyalty and reiterate our commitment to deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction by offering quality products backed by world-class service. We are confident that in the coming years we will continue to exceed the expectations of our customers while setting new standards in the construction and mining equipment sector in Oman,” he added.
The special evening had two very valued customers to share their experiences with Komatsu and SBG.
