Fun-filled family day out for ISAS staff

MUSCAT: The entire staff, members of school management committee and directors in charge of Indian School Al Seeb (ISAS) joined to enjoy an exciting family day out recently to a farmhouse near to Barka to relax and cool off the academic stress.

The School Management Committee under the flagship of Ravi Jayanthi, the president, hosted the event, which was packed with laughter, mirth, loads of activities, surprises, and grand rewards.

The day began on a positive note when Jayanthi and Moidu M. K., the vice president with the other committee members, greeted the staff warmly at the beautiful, lush green venue. Upon arrival, the staff were given colourful caps to mark the colour code of their individual teams. There was a mouth-watering array of breakfast delicacies spread out which were savoured by all.

Ahasan Jalal, chair person Staff Welfare, supported by Dr Devendra, Chairperso­n Co-sholastic, conducted some exciting games involving children and elders alike. Dr Mujeeb Hussain, Chair Person Sports, supported by Ranjith, treasurer were on the other side throwing challenges in the arena of sports which the male staff were thoroughly enjoying. Other SMC Members Shyam, Dr Rathin, Baljinder, Alpesh were fully involved in the arrangemen­ts and providing facilities to the participan­ts.

Some of the staff members to enjoy the swimming pool and indoor games used the interim time. The ambience was relaxing and peaceful and teachers forgot all worries of their day to day pressure of academics. They, in fact, joined in unison and danced their heart out on the foot-tapping music from Bollywood.

The food was sumptuous and the dessert was sweet and gratifying. Lots of prizes were awarded to children and grown-ups and a lucky draw from Air India awaited the lucky winner.
