MUSCAT: City Centre Muscat and City Centre Qurum are committed to adding more value to customer shopping experience with the launch of its year-long weekday shopping campaign starting from now until December 15, encouragin­g customers to save more while shopping.

Shopping at City Centre Muscat and City Centre Qurum is all about great moments ensuring shoppers the best prices when shopping for consumer goods, like groceries, clothes, household items and food. Most people head to the malls on the weekends, but shoppers can save serious money at the checkout counter if you head to City Centre Muscat and City Centre Qurum on weekdays.

Here are ways to save on common purchases:

Groceries

Groceries take a big bite out of the household budget. Carrefour offers low prices and promotions on the products that are popular with the residents of Oman. Shopping on weekdays would be the best time to get all of those amazing advertised deals before they sell out over the weekend. So, if there’s something you really want to stock up on, attack the aisles on weekdays!

Clothing

If you are passionate about new clothes, City Centre Muscat and City Centre Qurum are running sales, offering up to 70% discounts on clothing, shoes and accessorie­s. If you think shopping on weekends gets you the best deals, think again. Beat the rush and get to those sales items first, weekdays are a great time for a bargain. Visit the malls and head straight to the sale section. Also, take advantage of loyalty cards, major retailers are offering special loyalty cards and early sale access to frequent customers so don’t forget to ask the salesperso­n about it.

Restaurant­s

Shopping always works up an appetite. Take a break and dig into delicious meals. City Centre Muscat and City Centre Qurum are home to more than 40 internatio­nal dining outlets. Most restaurant­s run deals so make sure you ask what the special is for the day. In addition, they may have special meal combos on weekdays.

As part of a wider yearlong campaign, shoppers who spend OMR15 at City Centre Qurum and OMR20 at City Centre Muscat will have the opportunit­y to participat­e in a weekly draw and win a shopping spree worth OMR100 – a total of 38 winners.

What’s more, shoppers who visit the malls on Sundays can double their chances of winning. Shoppers who redeem two receipts will get four chances, redeem three receipts and get six chances to win a weekly prize. The more entries, the better the chances of winning.

The first winner will be announced on April 4.
