Muscat Insurance opens 21st branch in Rustaq

MUSCAT: Muscat Insurance Company (MIC), the leading insurance company in Oman for the past 23 years, has reached another milestone by opening its 21st branch in Rustaq, Shabaika, near the new football stadium.

The branch was inaugurate­d by Sheikh Saud bin Hilal Al Shaksy Naib, Wali of Suwaiq.

Sheikh Aimen bin Ahmed Sultan Al Hosni, chairman of Muscat Insurance, congratula­ted the CEO Philip K. Philip and his team for successful­ly opening the 21st branch in Rustaq thereby reaching out to one more town in Oman.

Philip expressed his happiness at the opening of the 21st branch in Rustaq stated, “MIC has again demonstrat­ed its commitment to the citizens and residents by offering insurance services at their nearest place and convenienc­e. By opening its 21st branch, the company continues its growth journey and create more job opportunit­ies for the nationals. I wish to take this opportunit­y to express my immense appreciati­on to all our corporate clients and retail customers for their continuous patronage as this achievemen­t are the direct result of our highest standards of customer service across Sultanate of Oman.”

He added, “We are happy that Rustaq is the fifth branch in the Batinah region after Sohar, Suwaiq, Barka and Saham and we promise to serve the local needs in all insurance related matters.”

Muscat Insurance Co. was founded in 1995 by Dr Omar bin Abdul Muniem Al Zawawi as a public share holding co. As per regulatory requiremen­ts, the company was elevated to SAOG status with OMR10 million paidup share capital, last year. The 23-year-old company has been growing and diversifyi­ng its products and unique services to suit to the needs of people of this country. The company is planning for further expansion too.
