The camp will include a wide range of art, educational, and sports activities focused on children between the age groups of 6 – 12.

Commenting on the launch of the Al Mazaar Summer Camp, Firas Matraji, CEO of Barr Al Jissah said, “With summer holidays fast approaching, we wanted to offer children and their families a unique experience as a family destination, to keep the summer exciting. With fun learning and family-focused enjoyment at the very heart of the Al Mazaar Edutainment Centre, it made the perfect venue to host a dynamic summer camp. Its spacious ‘Box’ structure and diverse combination of workshops that range from simple arts and crafts to more complex sporting activities, lends itself well to a programme such as this one.”

The programmes scheduled will cover five days of the week from Sunday to Thursday with activities split into three primary categories – Art, Educational, and Sports.

The ‘Art’ activities will include painting, drawing, handicrafts, music and more, while the ‘Educational’ activities will encompass various workshops covering topics such as road safety, healthy and eco-friendly lifestyles, cooking, and science.

‘Sports’ activities will include martial arts, ballgames such as football and dodgeball, fitness, dancing and more.

For the duration of the programme, the children will be split into two age groups every day, the first aged between 6 – 9 attending in the morning, while the second aged between 10-12 in the afternoon.

“To make transportation even more convenient for parents, a shuttle bus service is arranged from designated locations where parents can conveniently drop-off and pickup their children. The option is available to parents included in the fee when making bookings for the summer camp. Special rates will be offered at Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa for the families that want to visit Al Mazaar during their children’s busy time at the summer camp,” added Firas.

The Thursday of each week will be reserved as a celebration day where parents can come along with their kids to see what they have achieved in the past four days.
