Crowne Plaza-OCEC wins ‘Leisure & Tourism Project of the Year’ award
MUSCAT: Oman Tourism Development Company (Omran) is shortlisted for the prestigious GCC-wide MEED Projects Awards 2018 after its renowned project, Crowne Plaza-OCEC, won the ‘Leisure & Tourism Project of the Year’ at the national level.
Demonstrating high standards for the sustainable development of Oman’s tourism infrastructure that reflects its rapidly growing hospitality sector, Crowne PlazaOCEC is the first world-class hospitality component of OCEC (Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre), housing an impressive selection of state-of-the-art facilities, F&B and retail outlets, that form a harmonic mix of luxury, functionality and affordability for tourists and business travellers.
Omran with its Crowne PlazaOCEC project entry will now compete against other hospitality projects in its category from across the GCC.
This year’s regional winners will be announced at the MEED Projects Awards 2018 on 2 May 2018 at the Westin, Mina Seyahi, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
