NBO picks 26 Al Kanz Youth draw winners at GUtech open day

-

MUSCAT: The National Bank of Oman (NBO) conducted its first Al Kanz Youth draw of the year, where 26 students were the lucky winners of OMR100 each.

Held in tandem with The German University of Technology’s monthly Open Day, the bank organised a scavenger hunt around the main campus along with other interactive activities. To stimulate their creativity, NBO provided students with unique opportunity to learn more about the products and services offered in a fun and engaging manner. Ten students were also winners of the instant draw, which was open to non-NBO customers.

Khalil Al Hedaifi, Deputy Chief Retail Banking Officer at NBO said, “We want youth to translate knowledge into action. The scavenger hunt and stalls were our way to educate students of GUtech on NBO offers and give them an opportunity to learn how they can stretch every single Omani rial. This is part and parcel of NBO’s #live_it_up movement that aims to spur innovation and redefine the banking experience and the way in which the bank engages with the community at large.” He added, “We have come a long way and have modified our products and services to match their evolving lifestyles. We want to be the students’ financial partner of choice at every stage of their lives, whether it is to save up to peruse a degree or for a rainy day.”

Khalil explained that the Youth draw is part of Al Kanz’s promise to have more than 15,684 guaranteed winners from across the Sultanate.
