Student leaders inducted at ISG
MUSCAT: The investiture ceremony of Indian School Al Ghubra was held recently.
The occasion marked the induction of its Prefectorial Body for the academic year 2018-19.
The student leaders officially took charge as Papri Ghosh, the principal administered the Oath of Office.
From ISG the Head Boy Aditya Acharya and the Head Girl Ritu Andrews Machilath were the first to be initiated into the new team. The Vice Head Boy Adithya Rajesh, the Vice Head Girl Amisha Sandeep Metha, the President of the Student Council – Nandita Radhakrishnan, Vice President of the Student Council – Kevin Reji Abraham, the Speaker of the Student Council – Madhav Rajeev, President of Round Square International Services – David P John were also inducted. Atul Acharya and Eshayath Fatima Riyas took charge as the Sports Captain for Boys and Girls respectively.
The Prefects of ISG who were officially inducted were Merin Sebastian, Jeremiah Thomas, Rhea Umesh Shah, Ankshita Dasgupta, Kaustubh Agarwal, Sowparna Sreekumar, Anish Kumar Badri, Edwin Thomas Mathew, Shivam Ajay Saraf, Charvi Attri, Jesvin Sebastian Madona, K.S.Pooja, Sneha K.C, Meenakshy R Nair, Sai Jaahnavi Guntupalli, Anjali Ajay Dofe, Divij Sharma, Somalika Chhabra, Abhyuday Bose, Sakshi Sachin Kelkar, Mehul Sancheti and Abdul Wadood Mohiuddin.
The House Captains sworn in were Muscat House – Sai Shriya Surla and Nikhil Subhash Sithara; Nizwa House - Sreeja Mohan and Soofi Omer Ali; Sohar House – Pearl Marie Mathew and Azzan Bin Aziz; Sur House – Nayan M Anil and Hanib Jithan.
From ISG-I the School leaderAdveteeya Ganti and Vice school leader- Simran Sinha were the first to be invested in the new team.
The Prefects from ISG-I comprising - Community Service, Akifah Jamsheed Hamza -Cultural Activities, Ashish M.K– Sports and Games, Gowri Baburaj Nair– Student Council, Kaushik Sankar were also administered the oath.
The House Captains sworn in from ISG-I were Lakshmi Sunil Vishnu - Jupiter House, Rinika Shinde - Neptune House, Rachel Zara Jude- Saturn House and Neel Narayanan - Uranus House.
