MGM launches Mazaya Grand Advantage Card

MUSCAT: Under the patronage of His Excellency Nasser bin Khamis Al Gashmi, undersecre­tary of Ministry of Finance, Muscat Grand Mall (MGM) launched the Mazaya Grand Advantage Card programme at the Al Madina Group’s annual Iftar ceremony on May 28. The event was held at the Grand Millennium Muscat and saw the presence of over 600 people comprising Al Madina staff, guests, and media representa­tives who were the first to gain insight into this new discount programme.

The Mazaya Grand Advantage Card, is a reloadable gift card that can be topped-up at any time and can be used for payments across all participat­ing merchants. Through the new programme, once a customer’s new Mazaya Grand Advantage Card has been activated online, they will be able to enjoy several attractive discounts offers from MGM, Al Madina Takaful, Grand Millennium Hotel, and Millennium Executive Apartments, as well as a cashback gift on property purchases from Al Madina Real Estate.

The new Mazaya Grand Card will be replacing the existing MGM voucher and can even be given as a gift. MGM has partnered with Wemsol Internatio­nal LLC, to provide their customers with seamless transactio­ns while using the Mazaya Advantage Card. Wemsol will install the POS machines, train staff, and provide technical support when necessary. They also will be in charge of running the programme, alongside maintainin­g, training, and managing the various merchants.

Hassan Jaboub, CEO of MGM said in his speech, “The Mazaya Grand Advantage Card programme is the first of its kind to offer purchase services through a special card that combines several facilities and projects. The programme offers its cardholder many advantages, from shopping at MGM, to booking rooms in Grand Millennium Hotel (Muscat) and Millennium Executive Apartment, and purchasing properties at one of the company’s various projects; such as Qurayat ITC and Tilal Residences. Additional­ly, the cardholder will be able to benefit from special prices, exclusive offers, and valuable cash back facilities, making it one of the most distinctiv­e customer loyalty programmes in the Sultanate.”

A list of the related properties, participat­ing merchants, and promotiona­l materials will be listed on the Mazaya Grand website. The cardholder will be able to check their card balance, transactio­n history, and update their profile, after activating the card by logging in at www.mazayagran­d.com. To avail of these discounts, deals, and advantages, the card must be presented to the cashier at the time of making the purchase

Customers can obtain the card at the MGM Customer Service counter, with a minimum top-up of OMR 5. It will be valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
