Mercedes-Benz’s V-Class on display at Sohar Safeer Mall

MUSCAT: Mercedes-Benz’s multifunctional V-Class is going to be on display in Sohar’s Safeer Mall from August 1 to 15.

With a flexible seating concept and room for up to eight people, the vehicle is a larger, more functional sedan. Its innovative safety system combined with an attractive design provides for an easily adaptable interior that is unmistakably comfortable and luxurious.

This exceptionally versatile vehicle comes with four individual luxury seats installed as standard in the rear. To increase the potential capacity, 2 or 3 passenger bench seats can be fitted as an option in the first and second rear rows allowing for 5 or 6 passengers to travel together in safety and comfort.

Equipped with advanced Mercedes-Benz technologies, the VClass includes Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive, the latest innovations in the form of optional DISTRONIC Distance Pilot, which automatically maintains a safe distance to the vehicle in front; blind spot assist can help to avoid accidents when changing lane; lane keeping assist function can help prevent accidents due to the vehicle unintentionally leaving its lane. In addition, collision prevention assist combines a proximity and collision warning with the BAS PRO brake assist function. There is no shortage of driving enjoyment thanks to the Active Parking Assist, which helps the driver not only search for a parking space but also assists when manoeuvring into and out of it.

The V-Class is also available with the optional PRE-SAFE system which provides added safety for passengers by actively sensing an imminent collision. Using a network of sensors, it initiates precautionary measures to protect the vehicle’s occupants and includes reversible tensioning of seat belts in the front, the closing of any windows and roof system that may be open and electric seat adjustment.
