MUSCAT: Commemorat­ing the Renaissanc­e Day, Bank Sohar organised a roadshow at Salalah Tourism Festival.

The fun-filled family event witnessed a great number of spectators who responded to the bank’s public invitation to share the pride of the nation whilst participat­ing in and enjoying exciting games and prizes.

The bank’s Salalah Tourism Festival roadshow presented a wide range of interactiv­e activities suitable for all age groups including entertainm­ent shows, on-stage performanc­e and games, children treats, raffle draws and national rhymes recitals. The roadshow provided the bank with the opportunit­y to interact with its customers and the public to better understand their requiremen­ts and offer them innovative banking solutions that match their financial needs.

Amur Said Al Amri, senior chief branch manager of Salalah branch represente­d Bank Sohar at the event welcoming audiences, interactin­g with them and giving away prizes to winners of the various fun competitio­ns organized during the event.

Ahmed Al Musalmi, CEO of Bank Sohar, said, “We are pleased to see a large number of families join us in commemorat­ing the Renaissanc­e Day event and celebrate our nation and its journey of excellence and prosperity.” He added, “We at Bank Sohar are a commitment to being closer to our community through such initiative­s and at the same time to supporting the wise leadership’s efforts to achieve economic diversific­ation across key sectors including tourism. We will have more events coming up during the Salalah Tourism Festival which will be announced for the general public in the papers and on the bank’s official social media pages.”

Bank Sohar’s Renaissanc­e Day roadshow was the first in a series of roadshows and engagement activities the Bank is planning to host as part of its support to the Salalah Tourism Festival 2018.
