The ECO function is present for all new generation engines. The ECO mode is activated by pressing a button, it disconnects during strong acceleration if needed. This technology changes the management of the engine torque, power and acceleration as well as the automatic air conditioning and heating. To reduce fuel consumption even further, the driver can hand over control of some driving duties to Eco Mode, which modifies the vehicle’s acceleration, torque/ power management and heating/ air-conditioning. Driving is made smoother and acceleration longer, thus saving fuel.
It has ABS with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) and ESP, Emergency Brake Assist, Hill Start Assist, Front and side (head and chest-level) driver and passenger airbags, Driver & passenger seat belt reminder, Heightadjustable driver and front passenger seatbelts, 3-point central rear seat belt, automatic central locking of doors when in motion, remote central locking of doors, temporary spare wheel, tyre pressure monitoring system and Isofix system in rear side seats and front passenger seat. In terms of safety, the Captur earned a five-star crash test rating from Euro NCAP and was awarded very high percentage scores for adult and child occupant protection, as well as a better score for its safety systems.
It offers a two-tone exterior body colour, black interior décor, two alternative removable upholsteries (Blue & Caramel) and Ocean Blue or Caramel interior colour pack.
