NBO brings people together to celebrate Khareef festival

MUSCAT: In partnershi­p with Dhofar Municipali­ty, National Bank of Oman (NBO) is bringing thousands of people together to celebrate culture, art, and sports as Gold Sponsor of this year’s edition of Salalah Tourism Festival. The Bank’s participat­ion in the annual festivitie­s is a clear demonstrat­ion of how the finance and the tourism sectors can work together to advance national interests and economic growth.

Hassan Abdul Amir Shaban, General Manager - Chief Government Banking Officer at NBO said: “We view ourselves as partners with the Government, working hand in hand together for our beautiful country and its hospitable people. Our presence at Khareef underscore­s our role and responsibi­lity to support the Ministry of Tourism’s efforts in showcasing Oman as an all-year tourist destinatio­n.”

From a lush landscape bursting with shades of green to a spectacula­r stretch of pristine coastline to people who are deeply rooted in their traditions, Dhofar speaks for itself. The festival has become a staple in the Sultanate’s annual calendar of events and acts as an interactiv­e platform for promoting the beauty of Oman while connecting with people of different ages, cultures, and background­s.

During the 47-day festival, NBO is running a social, recreation­al, and edutainmen­t activities for children and adults to demonstrat­e how it’s innovative financial products, services, and delivery channels can add more convenienc­e, ease, and value to everyday life.
