The Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation is one of Japan’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers and has been present in Oman for over four decades, which has allowed the brand to build a loyal customer base and a strong platform for introducing new light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and buses to the market.

All Fuso vehicles are characterised by their strong performance, high fuel efficiency, and great comfort. They have been optimised to transform any driving experience into a great one. They also provide customers with the flexibility to choose the type that suits their business needs.

The Canter, which is by far the most popular vehicle within the Fuso range, has earned a reputation for offering customers class-leading styling and reliability combined with cutting-edge technology and a low cost of ownership. Powered by a 3.9 litre or all-new 4.2-litre 4-stroke engine, the current generation 6.5-tonne GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight) Canter offers superior lugging power and unmatched acceleration, making the long-wheelbase version well suited for urban delivery of bulk items. And backed by its 50-year heritage, the Canter offers proven reliability and a durable chassis that is perfectly suited for hauling heavy loads.

The Fuso FJ is also one of the new-generation trucks from Fuso. Designed for heavy-duty operations, the Fuso FJ features a powerful yet efficient 6.4l Turbo Diesel engine mated to a smooth shifting 9-Speed transmission for optimal driver comfort and operational efficiency. The new Fuso FJ, with a GVW of 25 tonnes, also features chassis frame members that are not only deeper and thicker than the previous model but are also shot peened and powder coated for greater strength and resistance to corrosion; leading to greater long-term reliability and operational costs.

Fuso trucks are available exclusively at all General Automotive Company showrooms in Muscat, Sohar, Nizwa, Ibri, Sinaw, Samail, Barka, Ibra, Sur, Jaalan Bani Bu Ali, Salalah and Al Buraimi.
