A’Saffa continues to inspire creativity among children

MUSCAT: A’Saffa Foods, Oman’s largest fully integrated poultry, snacks and allied foods producer, has always placed children within the Sultanate and beyond at the centre of the brand; and ensure they make everyday moments exciting for them. In taking this philosophy forward, the company recently organised colouring competitio­ns for children at Lulu in Ibra.

The participat­ing children had to colour a drawing of their choice in A’Saffa’s Colouring Book, as part of the competitio­ns. A’Saffa Foods Coloring Book for kids contains drawings of kid-favourite products from the A’Saffa range such as – nuggets, sausages, popcorn, strips, to name a few. Each participan­t was awarded an A’Saffa goodie bag containing kid favourites from A’Saffa Foods - such as chicken nuggets, franks, burgers and several other popular products at the end of the competitio­n.

In line with this – the company has also launched an Atfal Club Book - ‘10 healthy habits of happy children’.

The A’Saffa ‘Atfal Club’ book has been conceptual­ized with the aim to teach young children the ‘10 healthy habits of happy children’. Having fun illustrati­ons, the book’s age-appropriat­e, expressive activities can help kids work through and learn ‘10 healthy habits of happy children’ with ease; while providing them with a positive and engaging outlet to express their feelings.

As the acknowledg­ed market leader and a trendsette­r in Oman and beyond, in the poultry sector, A’Saffa is a clear provider of valuable protein to an ever-increasing number of families and individual­s across Oman. A’Saffa chicken has no steroids, no growth hormones, no artificial flavour, no preservati­ves or colour and no injection of water to increase birds weight, and prepared for consumptio­n using true halal techniques that add to the health quotient of the chicken. Thus also making it as close to organic as possible.

It is worth mentioning that A’Saffa Foods’ Board of Directors has approved an expansion plan to raise chicken meat production capacity by 100 per cent and continue in their endeavour to foster and support food security, self-sufficienc­y and increased employment opportunit­ies in the Sultanate. The total capital expenditur­e outlay of the expansion is OMR45 million.
