MUSCAT: Nissan Oman, from the house of Suhail Bahwan Automobiles (SBA), has unveiled the 2019 Nissan Sunny, bringing excitement to the stylish sedan. The 2019 Nissan Sunny’s overall styling has a considerable visual appeal and interiors deliver a sophisticated contemporary appearance to the much-loved brand.

The 2019 Nissan Sunny utilises Nissan’s global lightweight ‘V’ platform and is powered by a 1.5 litre HR16DE 4-cylinder engine rated at 99 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 107 lb-ft of torque at 4,400 rpm. The engine features a range of fuel efficiency enhancing technologies, including a dual injector system that allows a wider injection of fuel than a traditional single-injection system. The smaller nozzles deliver a finer spray to help achieve stable combustion. Nissan Sunny GSO rated mileage is 16.6km/litre. This mileage is obtained under laboratory test conditions conducted by GSO.

Nissan Sunny offers five-passenger practicality with a high degree of comfort and refinement – the perfect combination for commuting on weekdays, running errands on weekends and transporting family and friends all week long. Other features include a centre stack shape, a meter display with white LED display (previously orange illumination colour) and a steering wheel with standard audio and Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System controls. The Sunny features a wide AM/FM/CD audio system with standard auxiliary-in and Radio Data System (RDS), standard assist grips and a passenger-side vanity mirror.

The Sunny also adds an outside temperature display, USB/iPod controls, upgraded fabric headliner, map light with key-linked illuminated entry and silver finishers on the centre instrument panel cluster. SL models include Nissan Intelligent Key with Push Button Ignition and an AM/FM/ CD/USB-iPod audio system with 5.0-inch display and Nissan Smart Phone Connectivity. Other available interior features include trip computer with outside temperature display, power windows with driver’s one-touch down, speedsensing auto door locks and remote trunk release lever.

Its safety features include driver and asst. airbag, ABS + EBD +BA, immobiliser, VDC and TPMS.

Its exterior features include black door mirrors: manual adjust and folding, black radiator grille and outside door handles, rear window defroster with timer, 175/70 R14” steel wheels, body colour front and rear bumpers, remote key, rear fog lamp, bluetooth, rear parking sensors (genuine accessories are fitted at SBA, Oman).

Its Interiors boasts power and tilt steering, drive computer with fuel economy, drive range, driver and assistant seat manual slide and reclining, seat belt reminder — driver only, manual A/C, AMFM CD/MP3 and USB + AUX Jack with two speakers — roof antenna, central door locking and front power windows.
