MUSCAT: Maisarah Islamic Banking Services recently conducted its third Grand Prize Draw for the 2018 Prize Account Scheme in which a customer won OMR50,000. The draw was conducted in As Sunaysilah Castle, Sur, under the patronage of Sheikh Amer Bin Said Al Mashrafi, Member of Shura Council and Wilayat of Sur Representative. The event saw a large turnout of Maisarah customers and residents from the region.

Congratulating the winners, Muhammad Al Mashani, Executive Manger Retail Business and Channels of Maisarah Islamic Banking Services, said: “The Prize Account is part of a bigger savings scheme that is based on the Islamic Mudarabah principle, wherein customers share attractive expected profit. We aim to encourage the culture of saving and to promote good financial management habits among the public.”

The exclusive feature of Maisarah Prize Account is that customers are eligible for the expected profit of up to 3% per annum on their deposits maintained in the account, and Maisarah is giving away this prize from its own sources which is the shareholder funds. During the event, Maisarah also conducted the special draw for Eid Al Adha where 5 customers won OMR2,500 each, bimonthly draws of OMR1,000 for 5 winners along with the monthly and weekly draws.
